2025 marks a momentous milestone in Pilotās Vanishing Point legacy: the 20th Anniversary of the Vanishing Point DĆ©cimo. This is the very first worldwide limited-edition piece in the DĆ©cimo line. The design pays tribute to our origin story: in 1925, founders Ryosuke Namiki and Masao Wada set sail from Yokohama, carrying Japanese-made gold-nib fountain pens to the world. Their pioneering voyage inspires this editionās theme:Ā Voyage,Ā Challenge, andĀ Pioneering. Ā Each is equipped with a rhodium-plated 18-karat gold nib.
The aluminum body features a dusk-to-dawn gradient, a luminous transition from deep indigo to a warm coral-pink, evoking starlit skies giving way to the soft promise of morning. Layered atop the gradient, a rotary silkĀ printing technique is used to depict subtle star patterns that shimmer quietly under light. The overall effect isĀ refined, ethereal, and symbolic of new beginnings.
