Colorverse Project - No. 011 a And

Colorverse A And from the Project collection is a pale gray-purple ink with low shading. It dries in 30 seconds in a medium nib on Rhodia and has a dry flow. Colorverse ink is made in Korea.

Andromeda
Ā is one of the 48Ā constellationsĀ listed by the 2nd-centuryĀ astronomerĀ Ptolemy, and one of theĀ 88 modern constellations.

Located in the northern hemisphere, it is named forĀ Andromeda, daughter of Cassiopeia, in theĀ Greek myth, who was chained to a rock to be eaten by the sea monsterĀ Cetus. Prior to the Greeks naming Andromeda, the Babylonians also recognized the collection of stars as a female figure. InĀ Chinese astronomy, the stars that make up Andromeda were members of four different constellations that had astrological and mythological significance; a constellation related to Andromeda also exists in Hindu mythology.

Its brightest star,Ā Alpha Andromedae (āŗĀ And), is aĀ binary starĀ that has also been counted as a part ofĀ Pegasus. The constellation's most obvious deep-sky object is theĀ Andromeda Galaxy which isĀ the closest spiral galaxy to the Milky Way and visible to the naked-eye.Ā The constellation is most easily visible in November.
